CENTRAL TRUTH: One of the greatest self-discipline in which a believer will ever be engaged in is; To speak aloud God’s word at all times, under all circumstances.MEMORY VERSE: Just say (speak) the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed Matt 8:8 NLT
TEXT: Mark 11: 12-14, 20-25; Matt. 8: 8TOPIC: DECLARE ALOUD GOD’S WORD. INTRODUCTION: If I may ask, what does God say about you? What does He say about the church? What of believers what does He say about them? What does God say about what your need, your health, your situation and what you are going through right now? According to Jesus, it is a matter of BELIEVING, SAYING and NOT DOUBTING. We have to abide in a spirit of faith if we want the gifts of power to operate in our lives on a regular basis. Our faith grows as we abide in faithfulness to God and live as people of integrity..We mustn't give into the temptation to speak out the words of the evil who will be encouraging us to complain and pity ourselves. Complaining angers God. Just look at what it did for the people of Israel in the wilderness on the way to the Promised Land (1 Corinth 10: 10). My confession of the Word of God precedes my possession of the promises in God’s Word. LEARN WHAT TO SAY AND WHAT NOT TO SAY: “He will have whatever he says." (Mark 11:23).“Train yourself to be godly” 1 Tim 4:7 NIVENDEAVOR TO SPEAK THE WORD ONLY: When I need healing: I speak loud as often as possible “By his wounds I am healed” 1 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53; 5WHEN DO I SAY IT? ______________________________________ When I feel like saying it and especially when I don\t feel like saying it.I say it when I have no confidence at all and especially when the pain persists. When I am weak: I break the silence by saying “Joel 3: 10; 2 Corinth 12: 9-10; Ps 27:1The Lord is the strength of my life” Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.WHEN DO I DECLARE IT? ___________________________________ I say it at all times when I am weak, strong, defeated, at the mountain top and at the valley. When I am fearful: I speak with authority “2 Tim 1:7 For God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind’Ps 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear”?WHEN DO I SPEAK IT? ______________________________________ I say it when I feel like and when I don’t feel like, especially when I think it isn’t working. When I am tempted to doubt God’s word: I doubt the doubt and speak aloud “I have faith because “Ro 12: 3 God has given me a measure of faith”WHEN DO I SPEAK IT? ______________________________________I say it when in doubt and when not in doubt. When I lack money: I speak out aloud I have money, MY God does supply every need of mine. “Ps. 23: 1; Phil 4:19 my God shall supply all my need “WHEN DO I SPEAK IT ALOUD? _______________________________ I speak it aloud when my bank account is fat and empty. I say it even when it appears I am poverty stricken.CONCLUSION: Talk the way you would like to be and you will be the way you talk. Philem. 6 “… by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus”. there are good things in me.Morning, noon and night and some where in between, I speak God’s word; This is the greatest self-discipline in which you will ever be engaged –To speak aloud God’s word at all times, under all circumstances. Say it when you feel like saying it and especially when you don’t feel like saying it. SAY IT OUT ALOUD. Say it over and over again. Speak to that mountain. Do you desire to be healthy, speak health giving scriptures; do you desire to be a loving person, and then talk that way: “Ro. 5: 5 the love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit”; do you desire to be bold in Christ? then talk boldly (pr. 28: 1); Do you desire to be successful then talk success. Declare it at all times “I have the nature of God (Jn. 1: 12-13; 3: 8; 2 Pe 1: 4).
